20 was OLD when I was 12.
40 was OLD when I was 21.
60 was OLD when I was 29.
Now that I am sneaking up on 60, everyone looks young. Everyone.
I wish it were still just the hair, skin, and eyesight. Now it’s all about hormonal weight, hip/knee/shoulder pain, and energy. I am happy with the ability to play pickleball, walk, lift weights, swim, climb stairs, and many more activities. It just hurts a bit more often and takes an extra day to recover.
I am one of the rare humans that uses no prescription meds. However, I do have my share of bottles: Supplements and herbs.
It has been a battle every five years or so having to shift my diet to see where my body seemed stuck.
